What is FTP?
Very briefly, FTP (File Transfer Protocol) is used to transfer programs or other information from one computer to another. This simple tool will let you do many things: download software, upload your own web pages, transfer information between your home and work machines, and more. You don't need to learn a lot of confusing commands, either. As is so often true with computers, the right tool makes the job much easier.
What Is Anonymous FTP?

You can get updates from Apple or Microsoft, download utility programs from many universities, or try demos of many commercial software packages.
If you get your Internet access from a local service provider, you may be able to use anonymous FTP to get recommended software, help files, or other handy information.

Settle for a keyword that has at least 20,000 to 30,000 searches per month.
Next, you need to find out how much advertisers are willing to pay per click to Google for displaying their ads. You cannot find this from Google itself. But you can get a very good idea from Overture View Bids tool . Go here and enter your keyword to see how much people are willing to pay Overture for clicks generated for their keyword. Look for one in the $1.50 - $4.50 range. But you will do just find if the amount is 50 cents. The higher the bid is the higher Google will pay you for a click - the more money you make.
Now, go and sign up for Google Ad Sense at https://www.google.com/adsense/
Next you need to find an article that is based on and loaded with the keyword that you choose just now. There are many websites that provides free articles that you can reprint on your website. Just go to any of these and search for your article to reprint:

Copy the article and create a simple webpage out of it. Please make sure you do not breach their copyrights Generally, you have permission to use the article as long as you do not make any modifications and agree to include the author's resource box at the end of the article.
On your website place Google Adsense ads on the top, on the left side and at the bottom of the page, or any other places where you think is appropriate and can generate a lot of clicks by your visitors. You can find out how to do this from the Google Adsense website.
This page you are reading is a good example of where to place the Adsense ads.
Now to the final step. Go to Google Adwords at https://adwords.google.com/select/ and set up and account. Then set up an Adword Campaign advertising your webpage. You can bid as low as 5 cents per click. I suggest you also limit your spending per day to $5.00. You don't want to spend too much until you know that your website will make you money. That $5.00 can give you 100 clicks per day (your bid is 5 cents per click). If you do get 100 visitors a day and each one of them click on one of your Adsense ads that gives you an average of 20 cents, then you make a profit of15 cents per click. That's why you need to find a keyword with high bid value.
What you have done here is set up an income stream where you pay very little for a click (5 cents) and hopefully get more when your visitors click on the ads from your website, giving you a profit from the difference.
You may not make a lot of money from that one website, but if you can make a few bucks a day, imagine how much money you can make if you have 10 of those websites. Or even 100 of them.
